These guys are serious about making truly long lasting, and incredibly stylish exhaust systems. The new Double D's Hard Krome exhaust system features True welded Doublewall Construction featuring a one-piece 1.75" inner pipe which is designed to hold most of the heat generated from exhaust gases. The larger diameter outer pipe is insulated from the inner pipe and acts as a heat shield.

The patented design of Hard Krome exhaust allows you to have show quality chrome all year long.

There are two things we recommend along with a set of Hard-Krome pipes. The first thing we recommend is to have the motorcycle jetting recalibrated. The other thing we recommend with a complete Hard-Krome motorcycle exhaust is to replace the crush gaskets. These gaskets are a 1-time gasket similar to a spark plug washer. They insure that the cylinder head/ pipe junction has an airtight seal.

If your bike is carbureted we recommend the Dynojet jet kit for Hard Krome pipe applications. The bike could run lean otherwise and you could experience a pop on deceleration. The jet kit can be purchased through our web site as well. If your motorcycle is Fuel Injected, we recommend the Dynojet Power Commander. The Power Commander will alter your air/fuel mixture. Your stock F.I. can compensate only a small spectrum, not enough for an aftermarket Hard Krome exhaust. The Power Commander can alter that stock map and can be re-programmed for modifications installed at a later time.
